prepare Patarò
Gnocchi

Add ½ cup of water to your favorite sauce in the skillet (or as an alternative, melt 1 Tbsp. of butter in ½ cup of water). Add the gnocchi and cook at medium heat for 3 minutes  (allow 5 minutes for stuffed gnocchi). You can add grated cheese at this time if you desire.

Bring 5 quarts of water to a boil and add the gnocchi. When they float to the top, cook them for 2 minutes, then drain and add them to your sauce.
